This tour leaves from either Tel Aviv or Jerusalem. 

Day 1
You will be collected from your hotel in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem and drive to the Sheikh Hussein Bridge or Allenby Bridge to cross the border and enter Jordan. Drive on to Jerash - the Decapolis, located about 45 km (28 miles) north of Amman in the fertile heights of Gilead. Visit the Roman city with colonnaded streets, the ancient theater, the baths, the hill top temple, the triumphal arch and more. Then drive on to Amman for city sightseeing and overnight stay.

Day 2
After an early breakfast, you will travel south on the road to Wadi Musa (the new city of Petra), and then ride on horseback into the "Siq" (canyon) and continue on foot to Petra. The city is known as the Red Rock City, and was the ancient capital of the Nabataeans, reaching its period of glory between 1st century BCE and 2nd century CE. Visit the carved monuments, such as the Great Treasury, El KHAZNEH, then the field of tombs, obelisks and alter (Al Madhbah), from where you can view the whole of this amazing red sandstone city. Return to the village of Wadi Musa and drive back to Amman for overnight.

Day 3
Drive to Madaba to see the ancient mosiac map of the Holy Land and ruins of this historical site. Continue on to Mount Nebo, from where Moses saw the Promised Land. From this point you can see the Jordan Valley, Jericho, the Dead Sea and Jerusalem. 

Then drive back to the border crossing and cross back into Israel and on to your hotel in Jerusalem or Tel Aviv.
